Memorial outperforms nationally on student satisfaction with learning

Results from a national survey show notable successes for Memorial, including undergraduate students’ overall satisfaction and a greater desire to attend Memorial again in comparison with students at other institutions across the country.

The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) collects information from first-year and senior students who are fourth year and beyond about their participation in programs and activities that Memorial provides for their learning and development. Having participated in NSSE since 2008, Memorial now wants to improve how the data is used by academic units and instructors to better the undergraduate student experience.

A new video has been created to highlight Memorial’s results in a simple and meaningful way. Watch the video and learn more about the survey results, what they mean and how to take next steps in this Gazette article.
